Mrs.
Kathryn Elizabeth Axton Burgher, 29, 1113 SW 7th Ave., Gainesville,
died Tuesday, July 17, 1973. A native of Orlando, she lived here until
moving to Jacksonville and then to Gainesville a few years ago. She
worked for and was a member of the Community Evangelical Free Church
in Gainesville. She graduated from Winter Park High School and Orlando
Junior College. She was a member of the Orlando Chapter of the Daughters
of the American Revolution and the Pilgrim Chapter Daughter of the American
Colonists. She was past Florida honorary president of the Children of
the Confederacy. Survivors: daughters, Pamela Elizabeth and Janice Erin,
both of Gainesville; mother, Mrs. H. Nelson Axton, Winter Park; brother,
Howard Nelson Axton II, Lakeland; uncles, Col. E. G. Akin, Winter Park
and George S. Akin, Winter Garden. W. Guy Black Funeral Home, Orlando.
