Carol Jane Streep
(Copeland)
May
27, 1943 - December 1, 2003 After suffering from a prolonged illness,
Carol passed away on Monday morning. She is survived by her daughters,
Karen Margaret Copeland, Orlando, Lori Irene Copeland, Boston, Mass.;
brother, F. David Streep III, Orlando; her granddaughter, Brianna Copeland
and grandson, Zachary Copeland. Carol moved to Orlando, where she has
resided most of her life, with her family from New York in 1953. Carol
was a graduate of Winter Park High School, and the University of Florida.
Before retirement, Carol taught as an elementary school teacher in the
Brevard and Orange County School
Districts. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always very involved
with and dedicated to helping her family. Carol was predeceased by her
sister, Shirley McClanahan who died in July, 2003, her mother Margaret
Jane Streep, who died in 1981 and her father, Foster D. (Bud) Streep,
Jr., who died in 1997. Carol's father was the founder of Streep Music
Company. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 5-8PM
at the Lake Ivanhoe Chapel of Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home. A Mass
of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 10AM
at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Howell Branch Road,
Winter Park, FL. Interment will follow. Baldwin- Fairchild Funeral Home,
301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando.

Anne - While I love hearing from you, these messages are a chilling
reminder that we are mere mortals in this life and that we do not have
control of when and how we will leave. I saw the Sentinel page and sent
a message to the family. I will truly miss Carol for we had a good friendship
as kids and I used to visit her father's shop for items for my clarinet.
The old store used to sit on the left side of Orange Ave. very close
to the Sentinel / Star building. Bud
