Put
your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear
a noise outside your home or someone trying to get
in your house, just press the panic button for your
car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will
continue to sound until either you turn it off or
the car battery dies.......

August
14, 2007 at 10:34 AM EDT - Well, we have had a rather
pleasant 3-4 days here. We were switched from a daily
routine at the clinic for blood work and Dr. visits
to a MWF schedule. Apparently things are slowly progressing
nicely. My strength and stamina seem to get a little
better...... |

Dave
& Katherine Rees attended the mini-reunion outside
of Atlanta, Georgia, August 19th, 2006. They stayed
in Madison - a small historic town with much to see
and do. Dave shared photographs taken during that
weekend in Madison and with Bill & Camille Ronay
in Buckshead, Georgia. |

Can
you recognize the symptoms of a stroke? Fred Hale
shares with us some very interesting facts we all
should read and remember. Thanks for sharing, Fred. |

Some
classmates want to share with all the classmates and
this medium is a great way to do that. All is 'upbeat'
and social... some are very funny. |

Ann
"Stevie" Spaulding took a three month trip
to Africa in celebration of her 60th birthday. The
trip took 5 months for Ann to plan and she wanted
to make the trek with only one carryon bag -- did
she do it? Visit the brief summary of Ann's trip. |

Dave
Rees sent us an e-mail he received from his older
brother. We asked Dave if we could share it with classmates
on the alumni web site -- he agreed. We feel strongly
that not only Americans should see this, but perhaps
folks around the world, as well. |

Classmate
Bill Schwartz meets celebrities in his travels. Bill
shared a video clip he took this past November of
Ruth Buzzi singing HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY to herself
-- entertainer Frankie Ford (Sea Cruise) joined in
at the end. Since most of us crossed into the 60's
this year, Bill thought we would enjoy the clip. This
is a *.mmv file and will require video support on
the part of your browser. |

Tom
Golay was sent this e-mail from a friend. He thought
it might be worth passing around to our classmates
-- it has been verified -- it's not a hoax! |

Dennis
Rajala shared this 'test' with us via e-mail 9/16/03.
He wondered how alums of WPHS Class of 1961 would
do. Check it out and send Dennis your score! |

Periodically
we receive an e-mail from a visitor to the web site
or a classmate with a bit of trivia, or a question
and sometimes just a note that contact has been made
with a teacher - for any reason at all -- we will
post these for your information and response, where
appropriate. |

When
the worst thing you could do at school was smoke in
the bathrooms, flunk a test or chew gum. And the banquets
were in the cafeteria and we danced to a juke box
later, and all the girls wore fluffy pastel gowns
and the boys wore suits for the first time and we
were allowed to stay out 'til 12 p.m. |

A
sort of tribute to classmate Bobby Danforth and his
love for fishing and the great outdoors. Bobby is
