Hank contacted us in the hope we would have an e-mail address for Ed Creech. Well, Bill Ronay did have the address and Hank is sharing his correspondence.

I can't imagine that you remember me, but I took "P.A.D" from you in 1960 or 61. I looked forward to it for a year and when I took it, I enjoyed it. I think we ran into each other in a graduate program at Rollins years later. Anyway, it was the most memorable class I took at WPHS, set my interest in govt. I now work for the legislature here in Kentucky. I had a career in education in New Orleans and in Kentucky and have had occasion to speak of you to people as an example of a (model of a) really good teacher.
I "Googled" you and found an article where you discussed your bull "Big Sid". It brought back memories of the Kissimmee rodeo and advertisement in which the announcer said leeringly, "Can you ride Big Sid?"
Hope you are well. Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow! Am I proud of you! Thanks for remembering your old PAD teacher --- you made my day. I have lived in Volusia County now for the past 20 years, retiring from teaching in 1983, and moved up on the St. Johns River and became a cattle man of sorts.
You and so many others are a wonderful example of what I often say to teachers who complain about the abilities of their students: don't be surprised when that student comes back as a representative of the Department of Education to evaluate you, or as the College President or Congressman.
Thank you, again, for remembering. Your success in life is the reason I taught for 32 years.
